背景知識Background knowledge about DNA double helix
  • DNA雙螺旋結構的闊度為2.0 nm,而相鄰的鹼基對的距離為0.34 nm。(圖1)
  • nm 是納米的符號,1 nm = 0.000 000 001 m。
  • 一圈完整的雙螺旋旋轉大約包含10對鹼基對。(圖1)
  • 一般來說,DNA都是右手螺旋的。(圖2)
  • The width of the DNA double helix is 2.0 nm, while the distance between adjacent base pairs is 0.34 nm. (Fig. 1)
  • nm is short for nanometre, which is equal to 0.000 000 001 m.
  • One complete turn of the double helix contains about 10 base pairs. (Fig. 1)
  • In general, DNA is a right-handed helix. (Fig. 2)

Draw your design below. Label all the parts. Also, briefly describe how you will make the model.

Write the source(s) of reference that your model is based on.
